Marking a significant milestone in the Geraldton Port Maximisation Project

Agilitus is thrilled to support a significant milestone in the Geraldton Port Maximisation Project (PMaxP) as construction officially commences on the $350 million port transformation.

Since being awarded the EPCM contract in 2022, Agilitus has been working closely with the Mid West Ports Authority (MWPA) on the major infrastructure project. Our multidisciplinary teams have contributed more than 110,000 hours into the project to date and are buzzing to see design components come to life in the construction phase.

Supported by the WA Government, this transformative project will help future proof the port, support local jobs, and enable the export of new commodities to drive long-term economic growth in the Mid West.

Our Technical Director, Tony Comerford, represented Agilitus at the recent sod turning ceremony alongside Hon. Minister Stephen Dawson MLC, MWPA’s representatives Noel Hart, Damian Tully and Dave Spencer, and Martin Headd from Melchor. The event welcomed key stakeholders to endorse the beginning of construction works on the $52 million materials handling facility.

Tony Comerford says, “This project is a testament to what’s possible when regional vision meets technical excellence. We’re proud to be delivering infrastructure that will serve the Mid West for decades to come — sustainably, efficiently, and with community at its heart.”
