Through our partnership with Hunter Junior Rugby Union (HJRU), Jeremy Cooper and Jasmine Gibson proudly represented Agilitus at the recent Wallabies open training session in Mayfield, NSW.
The local community had the chance to watch the Wallabies – the Australian men’s national rugby union team – prepare for their upcoming test match against Fiji on 6 July, ahead of their highly anticipated British & Irish Lions tour along the East Coast.
Our mechanical engineering duo joined more than 300 secondary school students who participate in HJRU’s Steve Merrick Cup schools’ program, a grassroots initiative that promotes healthy lifestyles and rugby development across the region.
As the 2025 Sponsor for the program, Agilitus supports young talent from under 14’s to 18’s, fostering a love for rugby and encouraging discipline and integrity, both on and off the field.
Jeremy Cooper, Senior Mechanical Engineer at Agilitus, says “Supporting grassroots rugby in the Hunter means we’re not only backing our future Wallabies and Wallaroos, but also helping young people build life skills through sport. It’s exciting to be part of something that brings the community together and creates lasting impact for future generations.”
We’re proud to tap into the Hunter regions’ vibrant sporting culture by supporting and nurturing young talent through HJRU at the local level.
