This Mine site infrastructure project consisted of heavy vehicle workshop, ore-handling plant workshop, HV & LV wash-down, sample-prep laboratory and minor buildings.
The project was a design and build contract with Kerman Contracting for the provision of the Non-Process Infrastructure facilities for BHP Billiton’s Jimblebar iron ore mine site in the Pilbara.
The buildings format consisted of several large steel portal framed structures with in-ground concrete sumps, pits and wash-down ramps suitable for servicing the fleet of mining trucks and loaders.
