Process Engineering Support for SO4 Lake Way
SO4 has partnered with Agilitus to provide Process Engineering support at the Lake Way Project in Wiluna, SO4’s first producing asset of Sulphate of Potash (SOP). Once fully ramped up, Lake Way will deliver 245,000 tonnes per annum of premium SOP, establishing SO4 as a key supplier to the global fertiliser market. As part of this engagement, Agilitus has embedded senior process engineers directly within SO4’s operations, enabling close collaboration and fast, informed decision-making. This includes:
- Optimising and operating solar evaporation ponds for maximum performance.
- Developing sustaining capital works to enhance pond reliability.
- Designing targeted processing plant upgrades, including the reverse flotation module changeout.
- Managing construction and commissioning of plant upgrades with minimal disruption.
- Supporting the process plant ramp-up to safely achieve nameplate capacity.
This hands-on partnership continues to ensure SO4 benefits from Agilitus’ responsive, fit-for-purpose engineering approach helping accelerate ramp-up, optimise operations, and unlock the full potential of Lake Way.
